hello!

My name is Nyree (she/her). I’m an Art Psychotherapist and Artist.

With a varied background in the arts, health and social care, I bring over 6 years experience and trauma informed care to my art therapy practice. I offer a safe space to explore your experiences, navigate life's challenges and distress, and support your mental health through arts based expression.

My experience supporting children and young people ranges from nursery work, education and youth work. Within third sector organisations, I have offered art therapy support both one-to-one and in group settings.

My work with adults encompasses domestic abuse, ‘honour’-based abuse, dementia, mental health and disability support. I have worked alongside people navigating complex trauma, abuse, mental health issues and additional support needs.

As an Art Therapist I draw on approaches that are rooted in feminist theory, psychodynamic and person-centred modalities. My practice is focused on working with women and people from marginalized communities.
